TREE PRUNING – MERREDIN TOWNSITE

The Shire have re-commenced a tree pruning program within the Merredin townsite, in order to ensure trees are made safe and are clear from overhead powerlines.

Some trees will be recieving a hard prune to meet Western Power requirements, as well as ensuring safe clearances from roads and footpaths.

These works, which are being completed simultaneously by Staff and a qualified contractor, will be on-going for the next few weeks.

Sections of footpath and road will be required to be closed for the safety of patrons during this period.
