Collgar Wind Farm
Located 25km southeast of Merredin, the wind farm covers 18,000 hectares of farmland and contains 111 turbines which generate enough power to supply 125,000 homes with renewable energy. An information shelter provides the wind farms renewable energy story located on Bulls Head Road. 

Merredin Solar Farm
Located 10km south of Merredin on the Merredin-Bruce Rock Road is the impressive solar array of this Wheatbelt renewable energy project. Merredin Solar Farm has a generation capacity of 100MW and is the largest solar farm in Western Australia.  With an expected output of 281GWh of electricity annually, generating enough energy to power approximately 42,000 homes.
