Tamma Parkland
Located on O'Connor Street on the southern side of the Merredin townsite, Tamma Parkland offers a beautiful glimpse into the region’s original native vegetation. This 23-hectare sanctuary boasts five distinct habitats that are home to 175 native plant species, over 45 species of birds, and two unique species of trapdoor spiders. While it's a popular spot to explore year-round, the park truly comes alive in springtime when a vibrant blanket of orchids, grevilleas, hakeas, and flowering mallee trees makes it a must-visit destination for wildflower season.
