The small dog section at the Merredin Dog Park will remain closed for the next 6 weeks while the new grass is given time to properly establish. The big dog section is back open and will remain operational while the small dog section is closed.

The Shire of Merredin wishes to advise that an amendment was made to the 2024/25 Fees and Charges at the February Ordinary Council Meeting, held on 17 February 2025.
Pursuant to s6.19 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Merredin intends to introduce an amended Schedule of Fees and Charges with an effective commencement date of Friday, 14 March 2025.
