The Shire of Merredin is pleased to announce the appointment of the Shire President as Donna Crook and Deputy Shire President as Renee Manning.
“Thank you to the Shire of Merredin community who supported our candidates and voted in the local election,” Shire President Donna Crook said at the Special Council Meeting last night. “By sharing your voices, you shape the future of our Shire.”
“I’d also like to thank my fellow Councillors for showing their confidence in Cr Manning and myself by re-electing us as Deputy Shire President and President for the Shire of Merredin. I offer my congratulations to Cr O’Neill on her re-election and a warm welcome to the newly appointed Cr Boehme and Cr Madigan.”
“I’m grateful to our outgoing Councillors – Brad Anderson, Mark McKenzie and Megan Simmonds – for their valuable contributions throughout their tenures. The Council looks forward to working alongside the community to ensure the Shire of Merredin remains a great place to live, work, play and retire.”
Cr Crook and Cr Manning will serve in these roles for a term of 2 years. We wish them all the best in these roles during their tenure.
