An alternative solution using non-slip adhesive tape was implemented; however, this also proved unsuccessful. The Shire is now awaiting delivery of non-slip metal stair treads, which will provide a safer and more durable solution.

The Shire acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause patrons who require stair access to the pool. During this period, the slide pool will be made available to enable safe entry and exit for those needing stair access.

We thank the community for their patience and understanding, and will reinstate the stairs as soon as possible.
