On Saturday 18 October 2025, the Shire of Merredin held an Ordinary Election to elect members to Council.

Congratulations to the following candidates for being elected as Councillors for the Merredin district for the corresponding terms:

Donna Crook: 20 October 2029

Paul Boehme: 20 October 2029

Lisa O’Neill: 20 October 2029

Peter Madigan: 16 October 2027

The Results of Election from the Merredin Returning Officer is included below. Please note that a preferential voting system was used, rather than first past the post. The vote numbers below reflect this system and have been verified as correct.
