Expression of Interest – Merredin Rams Shed, MRCLC Merredin

Published on Monday, 12 October 2026 at 7:53:21 AM

The Shire of Merredin has received a request from the Merredin Men’s Shed to lease part of the existing Rams Shed, managed by the Eastern Districts Merino Breeders Association. The Men’s Shed seeks to use the shed for the storage of materials and machinery. The Men’s Shed and Eastern Districts Merino Breeders Association have confirmed that the shed will still be used for livestock sales by the Association, and that the shed can be utilised by the Merredin Agricultural Society for the annual Merredin Show.

This matter is intended to be considered at the October Ordinary Council Meeting. If any person or group has any objections to this arrangement, please email the Chief Executive Officer at ceo@merredin.wa.gov.au, prior to Midday Wednesday 14 October 2026.
