The small dog section at the Merredin Dog Park will remain closed for the next 6 weeks while the new grass is given time to properly establish. The big dog section is back open and will remain operational while the small dog section is closed.

The Development Assessment Panel (DAP) meeting agenda for the Ngaangk Boodja Battery and Solar Farm project on Robartson Road, Nangeenan is now available.
The finalised agenda for the Regional DAP meeting is publicly available at Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage. The meeting will be held on Thursday 7 May 2026; 1.00pm at the Department of Planning, Lands & Heritage, 140 William Street, Perth.The Shire of Merredin is required to publish a copy of the agenda on its website in accordance with regulation 39 (1) of the Planning and Development (Development Assessment Panels) Regulations 2011, and is available here.
