Tree Removal – Pioneer Park

                                                                     TREE REMOVAL – PIONEER PARK

The large tree trunk adjacent to the pullover bay in Pioneer Park will now be removed as part of the ongoing revitalisation works currently taking place .

The tree was initially cut down in December 2020 as it was identified by an Arborist as a risk to public safety and nearby infrastructure as a result of rotting.

To reduce costs surrounding the removal of the stump, these works were postponed as to be included as part of the revitalisation works associated with Pioneer Park.

The intention is that wood will be salvaged from the tree trunk to be used in future stages of the CBD Redevelopment.
