Please be advised that the public toilets located at Apex Park | Danjoo Waabininy Boodja are currently closed. While the plumber is currently on-site, it is unlikely that the facility will be available for use until tomorrow. We apologise for any inconvenience.

SHIRE ADMIN BUILDING - REDUCED SERVICES

Due to staff illness, the Shire Admin Building will be open for limited servicing on Friday, 20 September, from 9:00am - 12:30pm.

RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD

Please be advised that the Shire of Merredin is currently in the Restricted Burning Period, as of Monday, 16 September 2024.
As such, burning is permitted only with a permit. For more information, click here.

UPCOMING BARRACK & BATES ST INTERSECTION CLOSURES

Please be advised that the intersection of Barrack and Bates Street will be temporarily closed on the following dates:

Tuesday, 24 September to Friday, 27 September 2024: The intersection will be closed for rectification work.

There may be additional brief closures to address any further issues. To minimise disruption for road users and shop owners, work will be carried out at night. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Under the Shire of Merredin delegation authority number DL5.2 Burning, Prohibited and Restricted Times (Variations) I, the undersigned authorsied delegate, in consultation with the Shire of Merredin Chief Bushfire Control Officer, agree to EXTEND the Restricted Burning Period for two (2) weeks, until Sunday, 14 November 2021.
