Roadside Vegetation Pruning

The Shire of Merredin has engaged a contractor to complete pruning of roadside vegetation along Merredin-Narembeen Road for a period of 2 weeks, commencing from Thursday, 19 January 2023.

Traffic management will be in place during the works. Motorists are asked to follow all directional signage and allow for longer drive times. 

Tree Pruning in Merredin Townsite

Shire staff, along with a qualified contractor, have now commenced a tree pruning program within the Merredin townsite to ensure trees are made safe and are clear from overhead powerlines.

These works will be carried out over the next month and will require sections of footpaths, as well as roads, to be closed for the safety of patrons.

Traffic management will be in place during the works. Motorists and Pedestrians are asked to follow all directional signage.
