Gateway Merredin Festival
Past Event
The inaugural Gateway Merredin Festival is set to be held from Friday, 24 September —Sunday, 26 September 2021. This years’ festival, dubbed ‘Troops, Trains, and Treasures’, will be the first of this new annual festival to be held in Merredin and will have a strong focus on Military history. The event will also showcase the unique characteristics of the town through a number of fun, and immersive activities over the weekend. Festival highlights will include illumination projections, an outdoor concert, coach tours, and much more.
The Shire would like to thank those community members who have volunteered to participate on the working group. We have a diverse number of people representing a range of community groups who are excited to be involved in the planning of this event! We are also building a team of volunteers to assist in delivering this event. If you are interested in being involved, please contact Justin at the Cummins Theatre by emailing cumminstheatre@merredin.wa.gov.au.
More information regarding the event will be released on the Gateway Merredin website in the coming months, so make sure you check back regularly!
