The Shire of Merredin is in the final stages of creating our Council Plan. The Council Plan combines the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan into a single document, outlining the long-term priorities, goals, and vision that guide Council’s decision-making.

Throughout this process, we’ve consulted with the community to ensure the Council Plan meets the residential, commercial and industrial needs of our Shire. Now, we’re calling on the community to provide feedback on the draft.

On Monday, 11 August 2025, we’re hosting a community meeting at 6:00pm in the Tivoli Room at Cummins Theatre. Join us for an evening of discussion and help shape the future of the Shire across our key service themes.
