Position Status: Full Time (Fixed Term – 6 months)

Salary: Level 6/7 range of $66,562 - $71,919

 

Applications are invited for the position of Planning and Governance Officer. The successful candidate will support planning processes and procedures of the Shire, including undertaking reviews of planning policies and participating in strategic planning. They will also ensure the Council’s governance systems are in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 and provide competent, efficient and confidential administrative and secretarial support.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a formal qualification in either planning or governance or someone who is experienced working in a similar role or environment. 

This role will report directly to the Executive Officer, but will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer.

Your commencement salary will be within the Level 6/7 range and will depend on your level of qualifications, skills, and experience.
