Water Corporation will begin work on 9th of February 2021 to improve the water supply in Snell Street, Merredin.  The works will run through to end of February.

The main aspect of this work will be to replace a 310m section of pipeline with buried pipeline.

The pipeline will be installed by digging an open trench, which will be backfilled, compacted and restored.

Double L Construction, an authorised contractor, will be engaged to undertake this work

Hours of construction

Work will take place between 7.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and some weekend work may also be required within these hours.

Will work impact me?

There will be some interruptions to your water supply when the replacement pipeline is connected to the existing service, however these interruptions will be planned with plenty of notice provided to local residences.

Businesses and occupiers will be notified by the Contractor before access to their property is affected.
