Early Insights for More Resilient Communities Workshop
Friday 27th March 2026
Rural, regional and remote communities can experience rapid shifts in resilience during and after events like drought, bushfire, flood, storms, or economic shocks. Yet, community leaders often lack timely data to guide decisions – relying instead on anecdotal evidence.
The Early Insights for More Resilient Communities project addresses this gap by providing up-to-date, localised data to help communities track resilience over time and identify early warning signs of stress.
As part of this project, you’re invited to a free workshop so your insights can help shape a national dashboard tracking resilience where it matters most. With your input, the dashboard will be designed to utilise data and indicators that are relevant to your region and community.
A workshop is planned for Merredin on 27 March, 12.30-3pm at the Merredin DPIRD office (west of Merredin, corner of Great Eastern Highway and Crooks Road).
Spots are limited, so register soon!
