The Shire of Merredin has successfully secured grant funding from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety through the Charge-Up Grant program for the installation of a new EV Charger at the Shire Administration Building on King Street.

The EV charger has now been installed and we are currently undergoing the required commissioning work for public use, which will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.

It is expected the EV Charger and will be ready for public use at the beginning of the new year.

The EV Charger will use the application “ChargeFox” where payment will be made. Please follow the instructions on this application to access the new charger.
