The Shire of Merredin has successfully received a grant from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation to build a new E-Waste Recycling Facility doubling as an upgraded Tip Shop! As such, the Tip Shop will not be operating from 17 January to 1 April, 2024.

The upgrade will include a new shed being built on the existing concrete pad north of the gatehouse.

Clearing works are expected to take place this month to prep for materials and builder.
