Council Services

The Shire of Merredin aims to provide quality facilities and high level services to all our residents and ratepayers.

The Shire utilises rates payments and other income such as government grants to construct and maintain community buildings, footpaths, kerbing, reserves, drainage, roads and verges. These are just a few examples of the services that the Shire offers; full details of these services are available in the pages contained in this section of the website.

The Shire also runs and maintains an assortment of facilities for community use and enjoyment.

We invite you to peruse the various Council services and facilities to gain an understanding of the Shire's role in the community.
