WEROC Tourism App

Published: Thursday, 24 August 2017 at 9:43:44 AM

Members of the Wheatbelt East Regional Organisations of Councils (WEROC), a partnership between the Shires of Bruce Rock, Kellerberrin, Merredin, Westonia and Yilgarn, have collaboratively developed the WEROC app that provides both residents and visitors with information on businesses, services, events and attractions within these shires.

While primarily aimed at visitors to the WEROC region, increasing awareness of the local services and encouraging tourists to visit the region and stay longer, the app includes features highlighting local businesses, special offers and events that will also appeal to residents.

A WEROC website is also scheduled for development to complement the mobile app.  The website will allow users to book tickets for events, shows and accommodation, increasing the app’s functions and therefore adding value to the user and advertiser.

WEROC app is available for iOS and Android. It is free to download from the App Store and Google Play Store.
