The Shire of Merredin has been successful with a funding application to the State NRM Office. 

The funding of $53,562 will enable the Shire to conduct on-ground activities to raise the Roadside Conservation Values (RCV) of selected roadsides. This will be done by engaging a mix of consultants and volunteers to conduct and participate in a range of activities such as seed collection events.

Feedback from the Selection Panel: "This project was broadly recommended by all panellists. The project concept was highly regarded and offered full funding despite the highly competitive nature of this particular grant round."
