CORELLA RE-LOCATION PROGRAM

The Shire of Merredin will begin a programme to control the Corellas that are currently in the Merredin town site and causing major damage to the parks, gardens and trees. This will be achieved by the use of Bird Scare Shot, a non-lethal means to move them from the town. If this programme fails to move the birds on, the Shire has been granted a Licence to cull the birds in a further effort to move the birds on from Merredin.

This programme will commence in the early morning and late afternoons Monday to Friday beginning in early January 2018.
