'40 Year Old Popstar' tells the story of a mum who leaves her job as the Sydney Opera House nurse, where she attends to the headaches and ingrown toenails of international superstars, and returns to the tiny country town where she was born to pursue a pop career of her own. Once arrived in this Wheatbelt town, which is more or less in the middle of nowhere, she acquires a few headaches of her own.
