Council often seeks public opinion on specific issues; community consultation meetings are sometimes held on those issues, but not all residents are able to attend meetings – this part of the website gives you an opportunity to submit comment on those topics. There are also occasional online polls, and contact details for general feedback.

Recently advertised was the Waste Management Strategy - whilst the Draft Strategic Waste Plan is listed below, due to the size of the Waste Management Strategy (22MB) a copy of this document will be available on CD (or you can bring in your own Thumb Drive or other portable storage device) from the Shire Administration Office, Cnr King & Barrack St's, Merredin during normal business hours.
