What is Foodsafe?
- Foodsafe is a food handler training program devised by the Australian Institute of Environmental Health, and is the first stage of an integrated approach to food safety.
- The Foodsafe program provides basic food handler training combined with the implementation of temperature monitoring, delivery monitoring, and scheduled cleaning audits.
- Premises displaying the Foodsafe accreditation sticker have complied with all the requirements of the program and have undergone a successful audit from the Shire of Merredin's Environmental Health Officer.
